This document describes how Stagecast AB, company registration number 559070-8425 (“Stagecast” “we” or “us”) collects, uses and processes Personal Data (“Privacy Policy”). This Privacy Policy is applicable when you visit and use our platform that enables real-time active engagement at an in-person or virtual workshop, meeting, live stream or event (the organized by you or other third party organizers (the “Service”).
All definitions in this Privacy Policy shall be interpreted in accordance with applicable data protection laws which refers to the General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation no. 2016/679) and the Directive on Privacy and Electronic Communications (Directive 2002/58/EC), as well as the national implementations and related national legislation.
We will process the following personal data and for the purposes set out in the table below:

Our legitimate interest of the provision, tailoring and improvement of our Services. For cookies, we process the information based on your consent, as further described in our cookie policy.

Consent or legitimate interest of provision, tailoring and improvement of our Services, development of new ones, sales and marketing.When an organizer registers for the Stagecast service, we will register such representative for the Stagecast Newsletter. We also send our newsletter to other sign-ups that have subscribed for such letter. In our newsletter we inform about our services and products also described on our Website. We also analyze how our newsletter is consumed. This includes tracking of newsletter openings and how the newsletter is consumed, which is further described in our cookie policy.

We are unable to provide you with the Services in its entirety unless you provide us with the personal data above.
We will process the personal data set out above for the following purposes:
to administer your account, to enable and provide the Services and integration with third party services, and to provide, personalize and improve your experience with the Services, and to otherwise provide the Services according to the terms of use;
to send you alerts or messages by email or otherwise, including to provide you with marketing of our products and services;
to inform you about updates of the Services or the terms of use;
to improve and develop the Services or new services and products and to analyze your use of the Services;
to ensure the technical functioning of the Services and to prevent use of the Services in breach of the terms of use; and
to enforce the terms of use, including to protect our rights, property and safety and also the rights, property and safety of third parties if necessary.
Consent – If we are processing any personal data based on the legal ground of consent, we will ask you to consent to such processing by checking a box where this is explained prior to the processing of such personal data.
Fulfilment of contract - By using our Service, you also accept the terms of use and enter into an agreement with us. We process your personal data to be able to enter into and to fulfil such agreement that we have with you.
Legitimate interest - Most of our processing is based on our legitimate interest to process your personal data. The processing of your personal data for the purposes to administer your account, to enable and provide the Services, and to provide, personalize and improve your experience with the Services is conducted on the basis of the legitimate interest of Stagecast. Our legitimate interest for the processing is that we need to log data when you visit our website to be able to maintain sufficient IT-security, to evade fraud and to protect the Website and the Services from cyber threats. We also log data for the maintaining and improvement of our Website and Services.
We may share and disclose your personal data to our service providers hosting the website.
We may also share your personal data to the organizer organizing the event for which you are using the Service. In such situations, we are processing your personal data on behalf of the organizer and does therefore enter into a processor relationship with the organizer, who is the controller and responsible for the processing. In such situations, we are only processing personal data as instructed by the Controller under a separately agreed data processing agreement, and such processing is therefore described in their privacy policy.
The recipients below are located outside the EU/EEA and we are therefore applying specified safeguards for the data transfers as set forth in the table below. You can acquire further information regarding the transfer by contacting us at support@stagecast.io.

When using the Service you may be directed to other websites where the personal data collected is not in our control. The privacy policy of the other website will govern the personal data obtained from you on that website.

We store your personal data as long as necessary to perform the Services. When we no longer need your personal data to perform the Services, we will delete them or continue storing them in an aggregated and anonymized format where they are no longer considered as personal data.
The Services are not directed to persons under the age of 18. If you are a parent or guardian of a person under the age of 18 and you become aware of that the child has provided personal data to us without your consent, please contact support@stagecast.io to exercise your access, rectification, erasure, limiting of processing and objection rights.
You have an absolute right to object to the processing of your personal data for direct marketing as described in relation to data processing connected to our newsletters above. You also have the right to withdraw your prior given consent. The withdrawal of your consent does not affect the lawfulness of the processing based on the consent before its withdrawal, and we may continue processing your personal data based on other legal grounds, except for direct marketing.
You have the right to request access and further information concerning the processing of your personal data, or request that we correct, rectify, complete, erase or restrict the processing of your personal data. You have the right to obtain a copy of the personal data that we process relating to you free of charge once (1) every calendar year. For any additional copies requested by you, we may charge a reasonable fee based on administrative costs.
If the processing is based on the legal grounds consent or fulfillment of contract you have the right to data portability. Data portability means that you can receive the personal data that you have provided to us, in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, and have the right to transfer such data to another data controllers.

Note that you should sign the request to receive information of the processing of your personal data yourself.
If you have any complaints regarding our processing of your personal data, you may file a complaint to the competent data protection authority. If the processing is based on the legal grounds consent or fulfillment of contract you have the right to data portability. Data portability means that you can receive the personal data that you have provided to us, in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, and have the right to transfer such data to another data controllers.
If there is a change of control in our business, we may transfer your information to the new owners for them to continue to provide the Services. The new owners shall continue to comply with the commitments we have made in this Privacy Policy.
If we make changes to this Privacy Policy, we will notify you by uploading the new Privacy Policy on https://www.stagecast.io/privacy-policy. If your consent is required due to the changes, we will provide you additional prominent notice as appropriate under the circumstances and, ask for your consent in accordance with applicable law.
