Terms and Conditions for Participants

Please note that you will have to agree to these Terms and Conditions in order to participate. We want to make the day as amazing as we can and therefore we need to share some sensitive data, APIs and information with you. As we need to make sure we have control over our source code from a legal perspective, we all need to agree to these terms and conditions. 1. Ownership and use of results

Participants remain the owner of their production from the LiveHacks event. However, Stagecast reserves the right to use moment ideas for business purpose as long as the creator is asked for permission. Stagecast is allowed to collect and modify the results of the day. The participant is not allowed to claim copyright, patent rights or other intellectual property rights connected with the moment ideas that would hinder Stagecast from producing similar results in the future. Participants are not allowed to stop Stagecast from using and monetising a certain moment logic, code, principle, name, design or functionality on their platform. Moreover, the participant is not entitled to use the results in his or her future business or other employments if such work competes with Stagecast’s direct business interest. Stagecast AB shall remain the sole owner of all material, information and all results provided to the participants at the LiveHacks event.

2. Confidentiality

Information connected to Stagecast’s product plan, business strategy or product features are regarded as confidential information. The participant agrees that until the confidential information has become generally known by other means than by the participant's violation of the provisions of this agreement not to reveal confidential information to third parties, which the participant obtains from Stagecast AB or which arises during performance of the event. The participant also agrees that until the confidential information has become generally known by other means than by the participant's violation of the provisions of this agreement not to use confidential information, which the participant obtains from Stagecast or which arises during performance of the LiveHacks event, for any other purpose than fulfilling the participation.

In cases referred to by c), above, the participant is not however entitled to reveal to third parties that the same information has been received from Stagecast pursuant to this agreement. The participant shall observe the Client´'s instructions regarding the handling of confidential information. The participant shall in a prudent manner handle confidential information and media carrying confidential information.

3. Non-Compete

The participant undertakes not to carry out or otherwise support activities competing with the Stagecast AB's activities or objectives. This undertaking shall apply to the participant for a period of three (3) month after the event. The participant agrees that until than, not to, either directly or indirectly, conduct or in any other manner promote activities which directly compete with the Stagecast's present or, as a consequence of the participation, planned business.

The participant undertakes not to carry out or otherwise support any activities competing with the Stagecast AB's activities or objectives. This undertaking shall apply to the participant during the time frame of the LiveHacks event and for a period of six (3) month after the event.The participant agrees that until than, not to, either directly or indirectly, conduct or in any other manner promote activities which compete with the Stagecast's present or, as a consequence of the participation, planned business.
