Every Stagecast workspace has a number of participant credits. Credits are consumed when your audience joins a Stagecast room in your workspace.
There are a certain number of participant credits included in each Stagecast plan. In a free plan there are 100 participant credits included each month. In every other Stagecast plan, there are 2.000 participant credits included each month. At the end of each month, your workspace's monthly participant credits are refilled.
Most of the time, the included monthly participant credits are sufficient. But sometimes, you might need more credits because you have a big event or campaign coming up. In that case, you can purchase extra participant credits for a one-time fee directly in your workspace. These extra participant credits stay in your workspace until they are used and are only consumed, if you have no monthly participant credits left in your workspace.
You always see the number of total participant credits (so, monthly participant credits plus extra participant credits) on the top of your workspace.

A participant credit is consumed when a participant joins one or multiple rooms during the period of 24 hours.
Let's break that down in cases to make it easier to understand:
1. If a participant - let's call her "Anna" - joins a room once in the morning and once in the evening of the same day (because Anna wants to play in the same activity again), only one participant credit is consumed from your workspace.
2. If Anna joins your room once on Monday and once on Tuesday, two participant credits are consumed from your workspace.
3. If Anna joins two rooms in your workspace right after each other (because you have e.g. a Quiz and a Voting active at the same time), only one participant credit is consumed from your workspace.
Monthly participant credits are always consumed before your extra participant credits.
If you run out of participant credits, new participants can no longer join any of your rooms. You can wait for your monthly credits to reset at the end of the month or purchase extra credits with immediate effect.
On top of your workspace, you find a button that says "Buy credits". Extra participant credits stay in your workspace until they are consumed. Monthly participant credits are always consumed before your extra participant credits.
