By the end of this tutorial, you will know how to set up your first loyalty program which, will encourage your audience to participate in lots of activities and encourage your attendees to share their email addresses.
A loyalty program can only be configured after you have set up the participant profiles in your workspace. If you want to know how to set up attendee profiles, you can check out this tutorial.
First we navigate to the top and click on our workspace. In the dropdown you will find the item "Participant Profiles". Clicking on this point opens a modal called "Manage Participant Profiles". Click on "Add loyalty program" and you will start the configuration process.
The loyalty program information is displayed on the participant's profile sign-in. You can see the preview of the modal on the right-hand side of the configuration screen. Describe to your participants what type of prize they can win if they meet all of the loyalty program objectives. That way, your audience will be more comfortable revealing their email address.
You can customize the header image, headline, and description to explain what your audience can expect.
When giving away prizes, your country may require you to include certain terms & conditions. You can upload a PDF with your terms and conditions, which your audience must agree to when signing up. Make sure to type a Dollar sign ($) around the text that you would like to be clickable, like in the example below.
Next, select the goals that participants need to achieve in order to complete the loyalty program and win the prize.
There are three goals you can choose from:
Once you are done setting up the loyalty program, click the "Next" button in the top right corner.
Next, customize the winning popup with your own content and prize image. This pop-up will be displayed to any winner of the loyalty program.
Below you can ask the winner for specific information to help you understand what type of prize your entrants have claimed. All information that a participant enters is linked to his or her email address. This way you can identify the user and send them the correct prices. As an example, if you have different sizes of t-shirt as a prize, you can use the drop-down menu to ask the user what type of t-shirt size they would like to receive. Participants click on the drop-down menu "Select t-shirt size" and press the point "S, M, L or XL". This information is stored in the winners list, which we will look at in more detail later.
Next, you can decide if you want to "Enable Email Notification" for your audience. When you enable this feature, participants who signed up to the loyalty program will always receive an email when you start a new activity. That way, you can ensure that most of your attendees will come back to finish the accomplishments.
By default, the e-mail contains the information "Participate now to complete your loyalty achievements". and a link to your recently started activity. At the bottom of this email you will also see the header image, heading and description of your loyalty program, which you have defined.
Before you can see the loyalty program information and the goals you have set for your target audience, you must publish the loyalty program. You can do this by simply clicking the "Publish" button. The publishing function makes it possible for you to set up the loyalty program weeks before the actual event and activate it with a simple click so that it is visible to your audience in time.
Now your audience can join your loyalty program and achieve all of the goals you have defined. After reaching all goals, they will receive the winner popup. The information they enter will be linked to their email address, which will appear on the list of winners, which we will now take a closer look at.
With a simple click on "Show winners list" you open a modal where you can view & manage all winner's data in a simple list.
Here you can see when the participant signed up and completed the loyalty program. You will also receive information about the e-mail participants used to create the participant profile and which IP address they have. Field 1 and Field 2 shows the data your participant entered into the input field and the drop-down menu that appeared on the winner's screen. It allows you to collect specific data that may be important to you in order to send the right prizes to the winners.
